The Sayapatri Youth Club was established in 1999 in Dhampus VDC. The aim of the club is to join the local young people and to involve them in social works in the village.
Their main activities:
- repairing and building roads, trails, stairs
- cleaning the village, collecting garbage
- cutting wood, planting trees
- helping the needy families on the fields: planting and harvesting rice, building terraces etc.
- maintaning the drinking-water pipeline
The club also coordinates the labours of building of Annapurna Nursery and Kindergarten in Dhampus and the fundraising for the kindergarten.
President of club: Chandra Kanta Bhandari
(Narayan Bhandari, the former president worked there between 2002 and 2004.)
This club is registered by the Home Ministry of Nepal on the registry number 716/056, licence was issued by Kaski District Administration Office. (see below)
